Kalamata is one of the most beautiful coastal and historical cities of Greece. It has a 4 Km breath taking beach with clear waters and a number of attractions for visitors from all around the world. It's the capital of Messinia, the origin of the famous Kalamata olives and olive oil and figs, raisins, and handmade silk scarfs.

Kalamata's Byzantine Castle and the Old Town of Kalamata is considered the best place to start the tour of the city.
